More than a decade into their marriage and Leighton Meester still manages to surprise Adam Brody.
In a recent interview with People, Brody gushed over his wife's acting chops, which she will put on display when she appears on the upcoming season two of his Netflix series Nobody Wants This. The Gossip Girl alum will guest star as the middle school nemesis of Brody's love interest portrayed by Kristin Bell.
"I'm always impressed, and I'm always so proud," he said. "It's fun to bring her in and show off her talents."
The Gilmore Girls alum noted that his wife "does it all," adding, "I think she surprises me with how funny she is, and then, at the same time, can go as deep as anyone."
Brody and Meester met while filming 2011's The Oranges and went on to tie the knot in February 2014. They share two children together, 9-year-old daughter Arlo Day and a 4-year-old son whose name they have not shared.
While attending the Golden Globes in January, where he was nominated for his role in Nobody Wants This, Brody shared the surprising "secret" to his lasting relationship, giving a look at what goes into creating their "successful marriage." Meester, however, had a completely different outlook on the situation.
