Dakota Johnson is sharing the one requirement she has when for dating.
Johnson and her Materialists co-star Chris Evans appeared on the Today Show on Monday (June 9) where they were each asked about dating dealbreakers, per Page Six.
After host Craig Melvin asked, "If you were to engage with a real-life matchmaker, what would be one non-negotiable for you?" the Captain American star, who has been married to wife Alba Baptista since September 2023, noted that any potential partner "must love dogs." Johnson, however, focused more on the person's attitude.
"Like, not an a--hole," she said. As the crowd laughed along, Evans joked the answer was "concise" and hit the "nail on the head."
The 35-year-old Madame Web actress's answer comes nearly a week after reports circulated that she and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 48, had called off their engagement and ended their relationship after nearly eight years of dating. The pair have been together since 2017, but have been private with their romance.
While Martin and Johnson have dated off an on for years, a source said that "it feels final this time." The former flames reportedly "tried to work through their issues," but their age gap and the topic of kids played an important role in their split.
