When Taylor Swift took her record-breaking Eras Tour on the road, many celebrities and fellow musicians showed off just how much of a Swiftie they really are. The same is true for The Summer I Turned Pretty star Lola Tung, who had a pretty intense reaction after being acknowledged by the Midnights singer herself.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon alongside her TSITP co-stars Gavin Casalegno and Christopher Briney on Tuesday (July 15), Tung gushed over catching the tour in 2023 with Jenny Han, who wrote the 2009 novel that the show is based on, per People.
Tung and Han were near the stage when Swift noticed them, taking time to wave and make a heart with her hands.
"We were right by the stage, and she looked at us, and she kind of waved and was like, 'I love you guys,'" she recalled. "I nearly passed out. It was great."
Swift has had several songs feature throughout the duration of the show's three seasons, and Tung weighed in on which have been her favorite tracks, noting that both "The Way I Loved You" and "Delicate" are "great" choices.
The "Fortnight" singer recently made a "giant" Eras Tour purchase, months after the end of the award-winning tour, and one that holds a special connection to a lyric beloved by Swifties far and wide.
