Adele burst into tears during her latest residency show in Las Vegas on Saturday October 26th after embracing a surprise audience member who just so happens to be one of her favorite performers of all time!
Video footage shared by a fan (@sophxadelexf1 on X) depicts the "Hello" songstress hugging Celine Dion, who stopped by to watch Adele wow the crowd with her unmatched vocal skills.
In the clip, Adele walks over to the "My Heart Will Go On" icon as she sings "When We Were Young" and gives the star a hug that leads to tears.
Dion, matching Adele's look in a sleek, black dress, puts her hands around the 36-year-old's face as they exchange a few kind words. Another video (shared by nas.archives on X) shows Dion wiping her tears after her touching chat with the "Easy On Me" artist.
According to People, this is not the first time the lyrical legends have embraced at the Colosseum, as Adele attended the "I'm Alive" hitmaker's Vegas residency in 2018 and had the chance to speak with her backstage.
Adele (a self-proclaimed Celine Dion super fan) posted about the experience on Instagram referring to their meeting as the "highlight of her life." A few years later during an interview with Vogue, the "Someone Like You" standout revealed that her "proudest possession" was actually a framed piece of gum that Dion chewed that was gifted to her by former talk show host James Corden.
