Taylor Swift once gifted bestie Ed Sheeran a jar of jam with a note that threw shade at Kanye West.
The "Shape of You" standout recently reposted an Instagram photo of the jam Swift gave him 12 years ago with a note that read: "Yo Ed, I'm really happy 4 you and I'm gonna let u finish but this is the best jam of all time."
The note referenced the "Lavender Haze" hitmaker's viral interaction with West during her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Swift won the award for Best Female Video for "You Belong With Me" and Ye thought it belonged to Beyoncè, so he stepped in to let the world know.
"Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you. Imma let you finish but Beyoncè had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time," the "Waves" artist said after taking the mic from Swift in the middle of her speech.
Sheeran revealed that the jam was delicious above a comment section of Swifties praising the "Karma" songstress' not-so-subtle reference.
"SHE THREW THE BEST SHADE," one fan remarked. "I REMEMBER THIS!!! ICONIC," another shared. One follower even commented on how special Swift and Sheeran's friendship is.
"You guys have such a great friendship! Love seeing some of the beginnings of it!"
The entertainers have been friends for over a decade and still see each other "like, four times a year," the "Thinking Out Loud" star revealed during a recent interview with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper.
