Nicki Minaj shut down all rumors about her sexuality with one post on X.

The New York rapper appeared on the cover of Vogue Italia on Wednesday, May 28, and spoke about a number of topics from life as a mom to the status of her next album. Within the magazine's spread, there are several stunning photos of Minaj in a few provocative poses. One photo of the rapper wearing a pink Ferragamo dress and heels had one of the Barbz buzzing about the message she allegedly tried to convey. The fan alleged Minaj was "DL" because she was standing inside a closet.

“No," Minaj said in response to the post.

Nicki Minaj had previously shot down assumptions about her sexuality in 2010 by denying she had ever dated women. The Harajuku Barbie is currently married to her husband, Kenneth Petty. The couple first met when they were teenagers but rekindled their love in 2018 after she broke things off with Meek Mill. The two got married in 2019 and welcomed their first son together in 2020.

Elsewhere in the cover story, Minaj touched on the status of her next album. The seasoned rapper dropped her Pink Friday 2 LP in 2023 and traveled the world performing her hits during the "Pink Friday 2 World Tour." Minaj followed-up with deluxe version of the album, but she said she's in no rush to drop something new.

“I’ve got a bunch of really strong tracks, but I don’t want to rush,” she told the magazine. “I want the record to mean something, both for the fans and for me. I’ll never be one of those people who puts out songs just to put them out. I love music. I respect it.”
